A Sidecar alternative for controlling your Mac
Sidecar is Apple's built-in way to use an iPad as a second Mac display. It's excellent at that. Yorilo is for a different job: controlling your Mac from your iPad or iPhone.
What can't Sidecar do?
Sidecar can't reach your Mac over the internet, and it doesn't run on iPhone. According to Apple's documentation, it needs your Mac and iPad signed in to the same Apple ID and either within about 10 meters (30 feet) of each other or connected by a USB cable.
- Nearby only. No access from another building, city or network.
- iPad only. iPhone isn't supported.
- Extends or mirrors, doesn't take over. The iPad becomes an extra display. Finger touch is limited to scrolling, the sidebar and Touch Bar; Apple Pencil acts as the pointer.
- One Apple ID. You can't use it with a Mac signed in to someone else's account.

When should I just use Sidecar?
If your iPad sits next to your Mac and you want more screen space or to draw with Apple Pencil pressure in a Mac app, Sidecar is free, built in and very good at that. Yorilo makes sense when you want to control the Mac: from the couch, from another room, from your iPhone or, with Pro, from anywhere.
Try Yorilo.
Free at home, forever. Pro, with Remote Access and every display, comes in a later update.
